Controlling supply-chain and logistics costs effectively is an important role in business. There is a demand for employees with education and competencies in the following areas: warehousing and distribution, transportation and product movement, inventory and material control, purchasing and procurement, sales and marketing, and logistics information systems.
Our program provides you with the communication, analytical, and problem solving skills, processes, and technology to succeed. You will be ready to find employment in many sectors, for example, automobile, e-commerce, retail, technology, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), and logistics companies.

This course will introduce students to the five major decision areas in operations management: process, quality, capacity, inventory, and supply chain. In addition, students will understand the operation’s objectives related to both manufacturing and service organizations.
This course will include comprehensive coverage of contemporary organizational behaviour topics through a flexible hybrid of text and online resources. Includes discussion of the Milgram and Zimbardo experiments, the science of persuasion, and enhanced coverage of job design.
This course will teach the application of business communication principles while creating effective business documents and oral presentations. It includes study and application of team communications and use of technology to facilitate the communication process.
Students will learn and practice basic keyboarding skills using an online tutorial and in-lab practice time. Students will receive hands-on use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
This fundamental course will introduce students to the key elements of demand planning, including its principles, tools and techniques, contemporary approaches, and metrics and roles. This course examines both the qualitative and quantitative demand forecasting methods.
This course will introduce students to the basic principles of MIS (i.e. how firms use information technology and information systems to achieve corporate objectives, compete in today’s environment, and improve performance). Students will also practice relevant business applications.
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of dependent and independent demand inventory management techniques. Students will apply P and Q inventory management systems to determine reorder point and optimal inventory levels.
This course will help students to increase their mathematics knowledge, to develop their skills applying this knowledge, and to be introduced to business application areas. Students will learn basic skills in mathematics and knowledge of the fundamentals of business practices and money management.
This course will introduce students to the economic concepts such as: demand and supply, elasticity, efficiency and equity, output and costs, and perfect competition and monopoly.
The student needs to see economics as a lens that sharpens the focus on real-world issues and events, and not as a series of logical exercises with no real purpose.
In this course, students will learn the role of transportation as value-added service in supply chains, five modes of transportation and their cost structure, 3PL activities, risk management in transportation, and global transportation issues.
This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills to manage work projects efficiently to reach their project goals successfully. Students will learn project-management phases, budgeting, risk management, conflict management, team management, and ethical issues.
This introductory course addresses the basic principles of marketing. Students will learn the marketing process, customer-relationship management, importance of gaining customer insights, sustainable marketing, and ethics.
This course will introduce students to the essentials of purchasing-management process. Students will learn about the procurement operations structure, strategic sourcing process, measurement of procurement process performance, global procurement, and future trends.
This course will introduce students to the legal business principles. Students will learn the legal system and processes in Canada, constitution and division of powers, alternative dispute resolutions, torts, and professional liability. This course is not intended to provide legal advice.
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of competitive contracting and successful negotiations. Students will learn the elements of competitive contracting, factors affecting the contractual relationships, end of contractual relationship, and partnerships and intellectual property.
